Working by hand, in pen, inks and paints, McGuinness has gained commissions from i-D, The New York Times, Dior, Garage magazine, Penguin Books and the V&A museum.

She has also been commissioned to make drawings for print and textile design. Her ongoing personal work maintains a strong focus on figurative drawing informed by her background in womenswear design and the practice of life drawing.

McGuinness lives and works in London.
