Richard Kilroy

Richard Kilroy first gained recognition and visibility as a fashion illustrator in 2010 when he was commissioned by Christian Dior to produce a drawing for the exhibition Dior Illustrated: René Gruau and The Line of Beauty. Editorial commissions followed and his work appeared in Vman and Volt as well as his self published and uber collectable fanzine, Decoy. Commercial clients have grown to include Canali, John Smedley and Paul Smith.

In 2014 an exhibition of new work ‘The Cosmo Sketches’was displayed in Tom Greyhound Paris in collaboration with A Magazine Curated By.

He is the author of the Thames & Hudson publication Menswear Illustration that was launched in 2015 with an exhibition Drawings: Men & Style put together by Kilroy at Paul Smith’s Albemarle Street in London. Kilroy works and lives in London where, between commissions, he tutors at Central Saint Martins and The Royal College of Art.
