Formerly known as Jacky Marshall, the British, New-York based illustrator Jacky Blue, was creating evening wear at Donna Karan in the Nineties when she met the influential Central Saint Martins tutor, Louise Wilson. 'Louise was my mentor, my number-one fan and great friend who encouraged me to draw and do my photography at all times' she says. But it was only in 2017 that Jacky Blue gave up designing full-time to concentrate on her own studio based practice making drawings, paintings and prints inspired by the international ready-to-wear and couture collections.
